Taylan Özgüç Danyıldız, who has reached a large following through videos shared on social media and is known to the public as Testo Taylan, was apprehended by security forces following an operation conducted in Kocaeli. The reason for the detention was cited as the video titled "Social Engineer Academy," which was published about a year ago and sparked reactions.

In a written statement issued by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that the videos in question displayed behaviors toward women that were derogatory and obscene under the guise of "social experiments" and "entertainment." The statement included the following: "It has been determined that such content is presented as if it were ordinary and acceptable in society, posing a risk of causing the degradation of women and the normalization of harassment; furthermore, it has been determined that posts capable of damaging public morality are being spread to large audiences via social media."

Within the scope of the investigation launched in recent days, proceedings were initiated for the crime of "inciting the public to hatred and hostility or degrading them," as defined in Article 216 of the Turkish Penal Code, and the crime of "obscenity," as defined in Article 226.
