Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy published a thank-you message addressed to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the social media platform X.

In his message, Zelenskyy stated, "I feel great gratitude for the wise and sincere words spoken by the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on the eve of Ukraine's Independence Day."

The Ukrainian leader continued his statement with the following words:

"Mr. President, I completely agree with you that the Turkish-Ukrainian strategic partnership is of vital importance for our countries and for regional and global stability.

We are grateful for your personal efforts on the path to achieving peace and look forward to developing our cooperation in all areas."
