Thanks to Erdoğan from Pink Floyd founder Roger Waters
George Roger Waters, the British musician and composer who founded the world-famous rock band Pink Floyd, has thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Turkish people.
President Erdoğan had previously thanked Waters for sharing a video published by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications on his social media account.
Following this, Waters stated in a post on his X social media account, "No sir, actually we should be the ones thanking you and the Turkish people for standing as the only voice in the West against the genocide of our brothers and sisters in Palestine. The film you made is brilliant, empathetic, beautiful, and true. It will be remembered in 2040 as well. Thank you, Turkey."
