That series was removed from broadcast after the screenwriter's boycott statement
TRT General Manager Zahid Sobacı has removed the Mevlana series, written by screenwriter Ali Aydın, from the Tabii platform following Aydın's support for actress Aybüke Pusat.
The series 'Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi', which was broadcast on TRT's digital platform Tabii, has been removed from the platform. This decision was taken following statements made by the series' screenwriter, Ali Aydın, in response to criticisms directed at actress Aybüke Pusat, who supported a consumer boycott that took place on April 2.
In a post on his social media account, Aydın defended Pusat's democratic rights, stating, 'If you ignore the democratic rights of the actress in the Teşkilat series and terminate her employment due to pressure, you will also be forced to remove one of Tabii's most-watched productions from your platform.'

Responding to this statement, TRT General Manager Zahid Sobacı stated that Aydın has no institutional ties to TRT, saying, 'TRT has not allowed, and will not allow, those who support boycott calls targeting our country's economy and those who try to exert pressure with the language of threats,' and announced that the series had been removed from the platform.
