The '17-25' clock in Bahçeli's office interpreted as a message to the government: 'I removed the battery, I fixed it'
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli hosted Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç in his office. A detail in the images released from this visit was interpreted as a message to the AKP government.
The December 17-25 Corruption and Bribery Operation, or the 2013 Turkish corruption scandal, refers to investigations conducted between 2013 and 2014 in which some public institutions and organizations, as well as public officials including four ministers, were accused of abuse of office and bribery; these were characterized by the AKP as a 'FETÖ plot'.
Regarding the December 17-25 process, which resulted in the resignation of four government members following corruption allegations, the clock that MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli said, “I removed the battery, I fixed it at 17:25, we will never step back from our promise to hold them accountable,” has surfaced. In the photo shared during Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç's visit, it was seen that Bahçeli's clock for holding them accountable was in his office.

"I LOOK AT THIS CALENDAR EVERY DAY"
Speaking to Can Dündar on the anniversary of the December 17-25 process, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli said the following about the clock with the battery removed while it was showing exactly 17:25:
“I did this personally. I removed the battery when it showed 17:25. I look at this calendar every day. Their calendar, our clock. From this, you can understand that we will never step back from our promise to hold those responsible for December 17 and 25 accountable.”

Today, it was revealed that the clock is still in Bahçeli's office. The December 17-25 calendar appeared in the frame years later during the Ali Koç visit. It was claimed that Bahçeli was openly playing the 17-25 card against the government.
