Republican People's Party (CHP) Zonguldak Deputy Deniz Yavuzyılmaz shared striking data regarding the Çanakkale Bridge.

Stating that the error margin for the bridge is 84 percent, Yavuzyılmaz announced the 2024 loss report of the Çanakkale Bridge, built under the AKP's Build-Operate-Transfer model, in a post on his social media account.

Yavuzyılmaz explained the financial burden created by the bridge as follows:

"The 2024 loss report for the Çanakkale Bridge, built under the AK Party-style Build-Operate-Transfer model, has been released. In 2024, the guaranteed number of vehicle crossings: 16,425,000. The actual number of vehicle crossings: 2,684,738. Error margin: 84%. The guarantee amount paid by the Treasury to the company: 281,675,371 Euros. 281 Million Euros!"
