The amount they received has been revealed: Serdar Ortaç and Mehmet Ali Erbil are not telling the truth

An objection has been filed against the release of singer Serdar Ortaç and Mehmet Ali Erbil under house arrest, after they were referred to the courthouse yesterday with a request for their arrest.

The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office requested the arrest of the two famous figures. It was decided to impose an access ban on the social media accounts of the arrested suspects Esma Sözen, Soner Kabakçı, Emirhan Karuç, Sefa Caner Sarıçam, Emircan Çelik, Ramazan Karkin, Muzaffer Zorbey Erkoçkar, and Yağmur Şifa Yaprak.

While these developments have led to speculation that a larger wave of the investigation is coming, notable statements were made by journalist Murat Ağırel on the program Kayda Geçsin on Halktv.

Providing striking information regarding the illegal betting investigation, Ağırel announced that Mehmet Ali Erbil and Serdar Ortaç received 80 thousand dollars to go to Malta and advertise illegal betting sites there.

Stating that agreements were made with famous names to advertise gaming sites, Ağırel said that there is a place called Toy Room there and that the footage was shot at this venue.

He explained that Erbil and Ortaç shot videos for the betting site advertisement in a villa rented at a different location.

Emphasizing that a different advertising campaign was carried out through influencers, including footballer Batuhan Karadeniz, Murat Ağırel said that influencers received different amounts of money based on their follower counts and were paid between 20 thousand and 400 thousand TL per post.

"THE VOLUME IN TURKEY IS 50 BILLION DOLLARS"

Stating that the 15-20 people detained within the scope of the illegal betting investigation are merely pawns, Ağırel announced that the total volume of virtual betting games in Turkey is 50 billion dollars.

Ağırel continued his remarks by saying, 'My impressions and hearsay regarding the operations are as follows':

There is a main structure; the first target is to cut off the advertising leg. This business has different legs; there are financial legs, and there are companies established to launder money. Money is laundered through companies that do not actually trade but exist on paper, converted into coins, and this money goes to the figures at the top.

If the operation stays here, only the pawns will have been dealt with.
