The bill proposing an increase in pensions has been accepted and enacted in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey
The Law Proposal on Amendments to Certain Laws and Decree-Laws, which includes an increase in pensions, has been accepted and enacted. 252 deputies cast their votes. While 220 deputies voted in favor, 32 deputies voted against. The lowest pension is set at 23 thousand 552 TL.
The 5-year service requirement for appointments to department head positions and equivalent managerial roles that are not considered top-level public executive positions is being regulated to ensure compliance.
Fees related to applications made under the Law on the Protection of Cultural and Natural Property and services provided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, as well as amounts collected in accordance with the Municipal Revenues Law, will be recorded as revenue.
Those who will receive a driver's license for the first time and those whose driver's licenses have been canceled for any reason will be considered probationary drivers for two years. If a probationary driver exceeds 75 points or operates a vehicle with a blood alcohol level above 0.2 promille, regardless of the vehicle type, their probationary driver's license will be canceled.
Civil aircraft flying in Turkish airspace will be required to comply with instructions and land when necessary if they act in violation of air traffic rules or violate the airspace.
Value-added tax incurred due to nuclear energy construction works that cannot be offset as of the six-month period of the calendar year will be refunded if requested within one year following the six-month period.
Deliveries of machinery and equipment for nuclear power plant investments will be exempt from value-added tax. The SGK (Social Security Institution) support for private sector tourism businesses is being increased to 116.67 TL. SGK premium and state contribution rates will be changed.
For nuclear power plants and those borrowing for energy plant investments, the Corporate Tax will be applied at a rate of 25 percent until the year 2045.
