Due to the lack of rainfall in recent days and unconscious water consumption, the water levels in Istanbul's dams are decreasing without pause.

According to data from the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ), the average occupancy rate of dams in the megacity was 33.77 on October 20, while according to today's data, it has become 31.91 percent.
The dam with the highest water level was the Elmalı Dam at 53.07 percent, while the lowest water amount was in the Alibey Dam at 6.27 percent.

According to İSKİ data, as of October 30, the occupancy rates in Istanbul are as follows:
• Alibey Dam 6.27 percent
• Büyükçekmece Dam 34.14 percent
• Darlık Dam 34.37 percent
• Elmalı Dam 53.07 percent
• Istrancalar Dam 30.83 percent
• Kazandere Dam 6.43 percent
• Pabuçdere Dam 8.68 percent
• Sazlıdere Dam 43.38 percent
• Terkos Dam 43.82 percent
• Ömerli Dam 27.38 percent
