The figure by Erdoğan's side draws attention
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who attended the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day Commemoration Ceremony at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), met with the leaders of political parties. It was noted that while Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş sat to Erdoğan's right, former Prime Minister Tansu Çiller was seated to his left.
Nine years have passed since the FETÖ coup attempt on July 15, 2016. In this regard, a commemoration program titled 'The Name of Victory is Turkey' was held in the TBMM Ceremony Hall.
The ceremony was attended by AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, and MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, as well as Deputy Speakers of the Parliament, group deputy chairmen of political parties, former Parliament Speakers, former prime ministers, leaders and representatives of political parties, veterans, and relatives of martyrs and veterans.
Following the ceremony, Erdoğan met with politicians. The meeting included Numan Kurtulmuş, Devlet Bahçeli, Tansu Çiller, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, former Parliament Speaker Mustafa Şentop, AKP Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, and Deputy Parliament Speaker Celal Adan.
In the shared photograph, Parliament Speaker Kurtulmuş sat to Erdoğan's right, while former Prime Minister Tansu Çiller sat to his left.
