Six soldiers were martyred in a clash with members of the separatist terrorist organization PKK in the Operation Claw-Lock region in northern Iraq.

The tragic news of 22-year-old Infantry Contracted Private Emre Taşkın, one of the soldiers who lost his life as a result of the attack, reached his family in Malatya.

While District Governor Erkan Savar delivered the tragic news to the family, it was learned that the martyr's mother and father were in Mecca for Umrah.

It was stated that the martyr, who began his service last year, had a sibling who is also serving in the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK).

The funeral of the martyr, who was originally registered in the Karlıova district of Bingöl, will be held in the Battalgazi district of Malatya.
