A 3-year-old child hit by a car in Esenyurt has lost their life, while the driver fled the scene leaving the vehicle behind.
A car with license plate 34 HUR 442, traveling on Ali Rıza Bey Street in the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek neighborhood of Esenyurt, Istanbul, struck a 3-year-old child named F.I. who had suddenly run into the road. The child, who remained trapped under the vehicle, was critically injured.
The driver, whose identity has not yet been determined, fled the scene leaving the car behind.
The young child, who was rushed to the hospital by medical personnel, lost their life despite all interventions.

After police teams closed the street to traffic and completed their investigation, the vehicle was removed by a tow truck.
An operation has been launched to apprehend the fleeing driver.
