New footage regarding the fire at the nightclub located on Gönenoğlu Street on Yıldız Posta Avenue in Gayrettepe has been shared by the Ministry of Interior of Istanbul.

The footage shows the welding process at the moment the fire started. A worker is seen suddenly engulfed in flames while performing welding.

MINISTER OF INTERIOR SHARED THE FOOTAGE

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya shared the footage related to the fire in which 29 people lost their lives. The following statement was made in the post:

"Unfortunately, 29 employees lost their lives in the fire that occurred yesterday in Beşiktaş, Gayrettepe.

The administrative investigation conducted by our two inspectors regarding the incident is continuing in a multi-faceted manner.

The initial footage of the fire's outbreak has once again scorched our hearts.

I wish God's mercy upon those who lost their lives; my condolences to their families and loved ones;

I wish a speedy recovery to our injured."
