The mystery of the City Restaurant in Şişli: Is it closed or not?

Claims that services at three City Restaurants, including the one in Şişli İzzetpaşa, have been halted have sparked public debate.

Officials, noting that the City Restaurants provide affordable meal services, particularly to low-income citizens, emphasized that these restaurants serve approximately 200 thousand people every month.

While it was alleged that the trustee administration locked the doors of the City Restaurants as soon as they took office, the Center for Combating Disinformation and the trustee administration denied these claims. In the statement issued, it was stated that the City Restaurants have not been closed and continue to provide services.

However, Şişli District President Tamer Özcanlı claimed that the reason the restaurants could not continue their operations was the trustee administration. Özcanlı's statements are as follows:

Services at 3 City Restaurants, including the one located in Şişli İzzetpaşa, had been halted. These restaurants serve 200 thousand people monthly.

The trustee's first act was to close the City Restaurants, which were established to meet the needs of the community.

We must state that the statement made by the trustee administration is not accurate. While the supply should have been provided by the trustee, this was not done.
