Following the call by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, the meeting held between the DEM Party and the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Öcalan, in İmralı and the subsequent developments continue to occupy the agenda.

The DEM Party delegation, which includes Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Pervin Buldan—who met with Öcalan in İmralı—along with former Mardin Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Türk, who was replaced by a government-appointed trustee, had previously visited Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş and then MHP leader Bahçeli.

The DEM Party delegation will continue its parliamentary tour this week by meeting with other political parties.

In this context, the DEM delegation will meet today at the TBMM with a delegation led by AKP Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala, AKP Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, and AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik.

According to a report by the pro-government newspaper Sabah, the delegation consisting of Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Pervin Buldan, and Ahmet Türk from the DEM Party will meet with the Future Party (Gelecek Partisi) at 11:00, the AKP at 13:30, and the Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi) at 15:30.

İYİ PARTY HAD CLOSED ITS DOORS

The delegation will subsequently visit all political parties except the İYİ Party. İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu had stated regarding the DEM Party, which is continuing its contacts in Parliament, "We will never consider them an interlocutor."

The highly anticipated meeting will begin at 13:30. AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had stated the other day at his party's Samsun provincial congress, "We will save our country as soon as possible from the scourge of terrorism that imperialists have saddled this nation with."

Today, the DEM Party will also hold meetings with the Future Party and the Felicity Party. The DEM Party delegation will meet with Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu at the Future Party headquarters and with Chairman Mahmut Arıkan at the Felicity Party headquarters.

The DEM Party, which visited İmralı on December 28, is continuing its visits to political parties regarding its future roadmap. The delegation, which first met with Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli on Thursday, January 2, will continue its consultations with the AKP in Parliament today.

On Tuesday, the DEM Party delegation will also visit DEVA Party Chairman Ali Babacan and New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) Chairman Fatih Erbakan.
