The 'Omerta' vow broken in Tavşantepe village: Villagers speak out for the first time!

The murder of Narin Güran, whose lifeless body was found 19 days later in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, has deeply shaken all of Turkey.

While no one in the village spoke, as if an Omerta vow had been taken, the villagers spoke to Sözcü TV reporter Meral Danyıldız for the first time.

We were guests at the family's home and had the opportunity to chat for a long time. We asked them many times, 'Will you come out with us?' but they said, 'We don't trust the media, the process is working against us.'

We asked almost every question that was on my mind.

WHY WAS A VOW OF SILENCE TAKEN?

I asked, "Is there a vow of silence in the village?" They replied, "Because right now no one knows anything, so we can't say anything, and that's why everyone in the village prefers to stay silent."

They also shared the information that there was no hostility between Salim Güran and Nevzat Bahtiyar. They said that Salim Güran had been given land, and because Bahtiyar was not well-off, Uncle Güran had done him a 'favor'.

I asked if they suspected Salim Güran, and they said, "We know our family, our brother would not do such a thing." Regarding the DNA in the car, they said it was a family car and that this was normal.

THE FAMILY DECLARED NEVZAT BAHTİYAR A SUSPECT

Stating that Salim Güran was also their leader, the family members answered the question of whether there was anyone they suspected by saying, "There is no one we suspect, we have no enemies." They added, "After Nevzat Bahtiyar gave that statement, it made us think that he did something to Narin and slandered Salim Güran."

ENSARİOĞLU'S STATEMENTS

The family, who said, "We always thought it would come out from somewhere, our family looks like a very ignorant family," also responded to the statements of AKP member Ensarioğlu by saying, "We don't know, we have no friendship with him."

Regarding cult relations, they replied, "There is absolutely no such thing."

THE WOMAN WHO WAS SUBJECTED TO VIOLENCE

Regarding a woman saying 'you are lying' and being subjected to violence, they said, "When she said 'you are lying' at the funeral, she was speaking to the press members, and she was subjected to violence by her brother."
