Dubai, the center of luxury living, has made headlines this time with a coffee brand in which a Turkish entrepreneur is a partner. Julith Coffee, co-owned by Serkan Sağsöz, has put a special coffee on sale for 1,000 dollars (approximately 42 thousand liras) per cup.
PURCHASED AT AUCTION FROM PANAMA
The coffee beans in question were obtained at an international auction held in Panama. It was reported that Julith Coffee purchased only 20 kilograms of these rare beans and paid 600 thousand dollars (approximately 25 million 250 thousand liras) for them. This figure has been recorded as the highest price ever paid for coffee. It was stated that the venue plans to serve 400 cups of coffee from these special beans.
TO BE OFFERED IN LIMITED QUANTITIES
According to the report on NTV, the coffee attracted great interest as soon as it was launched. It was reported that collectors and coffee enthusiasts, especially from Asian countries, queued up to try the product. It was conveyed that Julith Coffee will offer this special coffee in limited quantities and that a small portion of the stock has been reserved exclusively for the Dubai royal family.
