Author Alev Alatlı, who had been receiving treatment in the hospital for some time due to multiple organ failure, has passed away at the age of 79.

It has been learned that Alev Alatlı will be laid to rest at the Mihrişah Valide Sultan Cemetery following the noon prayer to be held tomorrow at the Eyüp Sultan Mosque.
