The winners of the TYT were the 'baggage keepers'

 While millions of students were busy sweating for 2 hours and 45 minutes to reach their goals, the winners were decided even before the exam began. When students who arrived with mobile phones, jewelry, car keys, and even piercings were not allowed inside, the "baggage keepers"—a prime example of street smarts—stepped in to collect items for 50 TL per bag.  

The baggage keepers at school entrances took prohibited items for 50 TL per bag and returned them to the students after the exam. In Bursa, candidates also arrived at their exam centers with their families from the early hours of the morning. 

Despite all warnings, students brought items prohibited from the exam, such as mobile phones, sunglasses, car keys, earrings, bracelets, watches, and necklaces. Students who tried to enter with prohibited items were turned away at the door. The baggage keepers came to the rescue of the students who were turned away. The frantic state of the students was captured on camera. This year, the items taken into custody for 50 TL per bag turned the tables set up at school entrances into jewelry and mobile phone shops.  

THEY ALSO ACCEPTED ITEMS FROM THOSE WITHOUT MONEY

Officials stated that this year, students arrived at the exam most frequently with gold earrings, necklaces, sunglasses, and car keys. Even the jewelry of a young person with a piercing was taken into custody. Some students reacted to the 50 TL fee requested to leave their belongings. However, the baggage keepers also accepted items from those who did not have money. The items were placed in bags with papers bearing the owners' names and were returned after the exam. It was learned that the money collected was transferred to the school administration.
