Vacationers who came to Thrace have begun their return journey on the 8th day of the 9-day Ramadan Feast holiday.
As vacationers who do not want to get stuck in the final day's rush began their return journey in the evening hours, heavy traffic is being experienced on the roads connecting Malkara, Süleymanpaşa, Çorlu, and from there to Istanbul.
Due to the density, traffic came to a standstill from time to time at the signalized intersections on the return route.
Traffic Units affiliated with the Tekirdağ Provincial Police Department and Gendarmerie Command have also tightened their inspections to ensure that no negative incidents occur on the road.
While the roads from Istanbul towards Tekirdağ were busy until yesterday, the trend has now reversed, with heavy traffic being experienced from Tekirdağ towards Istanbul.
