They ended their protest vigil
The sit-in protest by CHP deputies in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly, held to protest the decision of the 3rd Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation, has ended.
The "Justice vigil" protest, which was initiated on November 9 upon the instructions of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, was concluded at the 500th hour of the protest.
A group of CHP deputies, including Group Deputy Chairman Burcu Köksal, left the General Assembly Hall after the protest was ended.
In a post on her social media account, Köksal stated, "Our justice vigil, which has been ongoing in the TBMM General Assembly for 21 days, has ended for now, as our Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel stated at the group meeting. We will determine our new roadmap regarding our struggle for justice at our working camp in Antalya. We will continue our struggle for rights, law, and justice."
