The release of the suspects had drawn significant backlash from professional organizations and political parties. The prosecutor's office appealed the decision. In the hearing held today, the suspects, Zülküf B. and Sedat M., were arrested by the 3rd Criminal Court of First Instance. The court's decision stated that the suspects had fired a handgun at Yaman Kaya while he was inside his car. It was noted that they had been released with house arrest on November 16 and were re-arrested following the appeal by the case prosecutor.
