It has been reported that a detention order has been issued for 2 doctors in Konya who were alleged to have engaged in inappropriate correspondence regarding their patients.
In a written statement issued by the Konya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that an investigation has been launched into 2 doctors for the crimes of "violating the privacy of private life" and "unlawfully sharing personal data."
The statement noted that instructions were given for the detention of the 2 doctors as part of the investigation, and included the phrase, "The investigation into the incident is being conducted meticulously in all its aspects."
In a statement released by Selçuk University (SÜ), it was reported that an investigation had been launched regarding correspondence alleged to belong to some healthcare workers at the university's faculty of medicine hospital, and that the personnel subject to the allegations had been suspended from duty.
