The Provincial Security Directorate Public Security Branch Office Environment, Nature and Animal Protection Bureau (HAYDI) teams launched an investigation following reports that drivers had hit stray cats and fled in the 100.Yıl Neighborhood and at the Namal intersection.
Examining camera footage, the teams identified the 2 vehicle drivers who hit the cats.
The drivers were issued an administrative fine of 14 thousand 432 lira under the Animal Protection Law No. 5199.
