They made noise again during exam hours: Parents reported it to municipal police
While the second session of the university entrance exams, the Field Proficiency Test (AYT), began smoothly at 10:15 AM in Bilecik, as it did across Turkey, construction workers who caused noise during exam hours yesterday continued their work today as well.
While the AYT began without any problems in Bilecik, candidates taking the exam headed to their schools early in the morning with their families.
Yesterday, at the Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University campus, thousands of families brought their children to the exam, and the noise made by approximately 100 workers at the Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK) dormitory construction site within the campus had drawn reactions.
While the municipal police teams of the Bilecik Municipality intervened in the situation immediately, the police had to intervene when the workers did not stop their work.
Thousands of students took the exam today in the buildings located on the Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University campus during the second session of the YKS exam.
The workers at the dormitory construction site, who made noise yesterday, continued their work today as well. Parents disturbed by the noise immediately reported the situation to the municipal police. The teams arrived at the construction site at lightning speed and stopped the work immediately.
The noise made by the workers both yesterday and today was truly exasperating.
On the other hand, municipal police teams toured construction sites all over the city and warned those causing noise.
