'They must act quickly' because... 'CHP should announce its candidates in critical provinces as soon as possible'

HalkTV columnist Mehmet Tezkan, recalling that the İYİ Party rejected the CHP's cooperation proposal following its General Administrative Board (GİK) meeting held yesterday evening, said, "After the political structure that took shape yesterday, the question of what the CHP should do is on everyone's mind... I would say; they should announce their candidates as soon as possible... Immediately in critical provinces like Bursa, Manisa, and Balıkesir... They can announce their candidates for provinces like Antalya, Mersin, and Adana later. The CHP mayors are already in office anyway...
The same situation applies to the districts of Istanbul and Ankara... I don't know, they can wait to determine candidates for Kadıköy, Şişli, and Beşiktaş, but they should announce their candidates for districts like Bahçelievler, Bayrampaşa, Beyoğlu, Çekmeköy, Esenyurt, and Eyüp this month," he said.
"ESPECIALLY ISTANBUL"
Arguing that Ekrem İmamoğlu has passed a successful test despite the obstacles faced during his five-year administration, Tezkan stated, "The CHP must act quickly... The AKP/MHP duo will focus on Istanbul and Ankara, just as they did in the May elections, using all the state's resources, operating their propaganda machine, and activating nearly fifty TV channels... But especially Istanbul... The CHP does not have the luxury of wasting time," he expressed.
