The incident occurred on March 18 in the Seyhan district on Saydam Street.The incident occurred in. According to allegations, tradesman Ahmet O. (23) went to a bank located on the street to pay his debts and withdrew 270,000 TL in cash. Ahmet O. put the money he withdrew into a bag and then went to his car.

Hüseyin T. (33), who followed Ahmet O. after he left the bank, slashed the front right tire of the vehicle, causing it to go flat. When Ahmet O. realized his tire was flat, he went to a nearby tire repair shop.

Hüseyin T. and Ali A. (44) followed Ahmet O. to the tire shop during this time. While Ahmet O. got out of the vehicle and locked it, Hüseyin T. secretly opened the passenger door, ensuring it would not lock.

While Ahmet O. was talking to the repairman, Ali A. took the bag full of money from the front seat and disappeared.

Ahmet O., who returned to his vehicle, realized the money had been stolen and reported the situation to the police.

Arriving at the scene, the Theft and Pickpocketing Bureau teams began examining security cameras in the area.
Following their camera analysis, the police identified the individuals who stole the money as Hüseyin T. and Ali A.

The police apprehended the suspects in an operation at the house where they were hiding. During the search of Hüseyin T.'s home, 236,800 TL of the money was recovered. found it.

Both of the detained suspects stated in their testimonies, "We didn't spend any of the money, that's how much was in the bag" they said.

The two suspects were referred to the courthouse after their procedures and were arrested by the court.

The recovered money was returned to its owner.
