They turned the political party's headquarters into a drug den
Seven people were detained in an operation conducted at the headquarters of a political party in Ankara after they were found to be using drugs. It was determined that one of the suspects was selling drugs.
Following a tip-off that drugs were being sold and used at the headquarters of the 'National Unity Party' (Milli Beraberlik Partisi)—which was founded on April 26, 2023, and has 163 members, according to data from the Supreme Court of Appeals Chief Public Prosecutor's Office—located in the Yenimahalle district of Ankara, teams immediately took action and conducted an operation on the party's headquarters.
REVEALED TO BE USING AND SELLING DRUGS
It was revealed that among the 7 people detained in the building, M.G. was a party member and, along with B.Y., had been supplying and using drugs inside the headquarters building.
During a search of B.Y., a large quantity of drugs packaged for sale was found.

'THIS PLACE IS SAFE, THE POLICE CANNOT ENTER'
In their statements, the 5 suspects who were detained for drug use said that M.G. and B.Y. had provided them with drugs and invited them to the party building, telling them, "This place is safe, the police cannot enter," thereby providing a space for drug use. The suspects' processing at the police station is ongoing.
