Four thieves who robbed the villa of businessman Fikret Öztürk, co-founder and chairman of the board of Opet and also the president of Bodrumspor, stealing a safe containing 1 million dollars worth of jewelry and cash, have been caught.

THEY ENTERED THE HIGH-SECURITY VILLA BY CUTTING THE FENCES

Businessman Fikret Öztürk's house in Üsküdar was robbed by thieves on December 28.

The thieves, who entered the house from the balcony by cutting the barbed wire of the high-security and guarded residential complex, stole the safe inside the house. It was determined that the suspects fled after taking 1 million dollars worth of jewelry, 10 thousand dollars, and 2 thousand euros from the safe.

IDENTITIES OF TWO THIEVES DETERMINED

Teams examining security camera footage identified the two suspects who arrived at the scene by car and fled in the same vehicle.

In the operation they organized, the teams caught the suspect M.B., who has 25 criminal records, and N.D., who is alleged to have purchased the jewelry from him. A portion of the jewelry was also recovered.

The detained suspects were referred to the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse in Kartal after their procedures at the police station.
