In an 'Abluka' (Blockade) operation carried out in Diyarbakır against thieves who had committed crimes of assault and threats on different dates and had stolen 2 million TL worth of gold from a car, 26 suspects were caught. Some of the suspects caught in the operation were found hiding on balconies, in toilets, and behind curtains.

Provincial Police Department Public Security Branch teams launched an investigation into the thieves who had committed crimes of assault and threats on different dates and had stolen 2 million TL worth of gold from a car.

With a special team established, a digital album of the 26 suspects was created using camera footage obtained from the areas where they were located. The addresses of the suspects, who were placed under close surveillance, were identified. Determining that two of the 26 suspects were 17 years old and had numerous criminal records, the teams carried out the operation dubbed 'Abluka'.

The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office granted permission for the teams to enter the homes, where they caught some of the suspects on balconies, in toilets, and behind curtains. During the operation, the teams detained 26 people, including the suspects who had stolen 60 full gold coins, 32 half gold coins, and 56 quarter gold coins.

While the processing of the suspects at the police station continues, the gold, worth approximately 2 million TL, has been returned to its owner.
