Third suspect emerges in Narin Güran murder case: Another family member

The trial for the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran, whose body was found in a sack in the Eğertutmaz stream 19 days after she went missing in Diyarbakır, began on November 7. The defendants, including her mother Yüksel, brother Enes, uncle Salim Güran, and Nevzat Bahtiyar, who transported the body, are being tried on charges of 'intentional killing of a child in complicity,' facing life imprisonment with no possibility of parole.

It was stated that the hearing, in which the court decided to continue the detention of the defendants with an interim decision during the three-day trial, has been adjourned to December 26.

Sabah Newspaper News Coordinator Abdurrahman Şimşek made an interesting claim on A Haber. Suggesting there could be a third person involved in the murder, Şimşek pointed to Salim Güran's 22-year-old son.

Şimşek stated, "Devran Güran is currently in custody and in prison. Until yesterday, I thought the killer was Enes; now I believe there is another suspect."

Abdurrahman Şimşek stated that he had previously thought the killer was Enes, but now believes there is another suspect. He provided a striking name when explaining who this person might be.

Şimşek identified the suspect as Devran Güran, the son of uncle Salim Güran. Şimşek said, "He was also in that region at the scene of the incident. We have always asked why an uncle would organize such a thing for his nephew, but we would think differently if it were his own child. From this point on, I am announcing for the first time here that Devran Güran is a third suspect. Devran Güran is 22 years old and very close with Enes Güran. Devran Güran is in custody and in prison. There is a 50 percent chance that Devran Güran may have also participated in this murder."

He says he went to deliver invitations with Barış and Osman Güran. It does not seem normal to me that Devran was quickly sent to Mardin by his father at 3:00 PM. Devran Güran is currently in prison. Devran Güran was never discussed in this file. There is a secret witness in the file. That witness makes very important claims regarding Enes."
