Thousands of university students who gathered at Şişli Maçka Park in the evening hours began a march to the Şişli Municipality, where a trustee has been appointed.
The students, who frequently chanted slogans such as "There is no salvation alone, either all together or none of us," marched from Maçka and arrived at Osmanbey Halaskargazi Street.
Protesting the arrest of IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, and the subsequent appointment of a trustee, the students marched to the Şişli Municipality while carrying placards.
