Threat from Ömer Öcalan, nephew of terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan: 'If there is no solution, Turkey will experience hell'

With the new process initiated by the call from MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, eyes have turned to the expected call for disarmament from terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan, who is held in İmralı.

According to a report by Cumhuriyet, while there is talk in political circles that terrorist leader Öcalan will make his highly anticipated call for disarmament on February 15, DEM Party Şanlıurfa MP Ömer Öcalan has made scandalous statements.

"IF THIS ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED, TURKEY WILL EXPERIENCE HELL"

Ömer Öcalan, who was the first person to visit İmralı following Bahçeli's call regarding Öcalan, spoke about his meeting with the terrorist leader. Using threatening language, Ömer Öcalan stated, “Öcalan said, ‘If this issue is resolved, the door to life will open for everyone; if this issue is not resolved, Turkey will retreat into Anatolia and experience its own hell. Those who can establish a new system in the Middle East are the Kurds, and they can lift up other peoples along with themselves.’”

‘IT WILL BE FIFTY GAZZAS’

Mazlum Abdi, the leader of the YPG, the Syrian branch of the PKK, stated in recent days in an interview with the Italian newspaper Il Manifesto that the terrorist leader would make a statement on February 15, that the statement might be visual, and that it would include messages regarding northern Syria.

Ömer Öcalan, for his part, recently recounted the details of his one-hour and 40-minute meeting with his uncle on October 23. Referring to the "Gaza" statement by DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları that sparked reactions, Öcalan said, “The Turkish media distorted those words. But Öcalan had said this: If the Kurdish issue is resolved, if the Middle East issue is resolved, the path for the Middle East will brighten. But if the Kurdish issue is not resolved and the Middle East issue is not resolved, there is one Gaza now, and this will become fifty Gazas.” When asked by a journalist, “Does this include Turkey?” Öcalan replied, “Of course.”

‘EVERYONE MUST EMPTY THEIR SATCHELS’

Conveying that Öcalan told him, “If Turkey does not prepare itself for a solution, there are many plans by Syria, Iraq, Iran, and international powers for the future. There is also the possibility of states being declared in these places,” Ömer Öcalan gave the following response to the journalist's question, “If Öcalan makes a call, do you believe the PKK or Qandil will heed it?”:

“The answer may not be with me. The foundation needs to be prepared. Everyone needs to empty their satchels with trust. If this issue is not resolved, today it is the PKK or KCK, but tomorrow there is a possibility of something else emerging.”
