Three more bodies recovered in İliç
Three more bodies of the nine workers who remained trapped under soil following a heap leach landslide at a mine in the İliç district of Erzincan have been recovered.
On February 13, nine workers were trapped under soil following a heap leach landslide at the Çöpler Gold Mine, operated by Anagold Madencilik.
Today, 114 days after the landslide, the bodies of three more workers were recovered.
Thus, the bodies of 8 out of the 9 workers trapped under the heap have been recovered.
It was learned that the identities of the workers will be determined as a result of DNA testing.
