Decision from THY regarding Israel
Due to the attacks launched by Hamas from the Gaza Strip into Israel, Turkish Airlines (THY) has announced that it is granting additional rights, such as free cancellation and rescheduling, to passengers traveling to and from Tel Aviv.
According to the statement on THY's website, due to the events affecting Tel Aviv (TLV) flights, extra options such as free cancellation, rescheduling, and booking changes will be offered to passengers with reservations on all THY and AnadoluJet flights to and from Tel Aviv scheduled between October 7-9, starting from today.
The statement indicated that free refund transactions for all THY or AnadoluJet flights arriving at or departing from Tel Aviv on the specified dates can be made until Monday, October 9, and that the validity of tickets can be extended until November 30 without any fare difference or penalty fees.
The statement noted that detailed information regarding these transactions can be accessed at THY's address: "https://www.turkishairlines.com/tr-int/tel-aviv-seferlerimiz-icin-yolcu-haklari".
Meanwhile, THY flights are experiencing delays due to issues originating from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport.
