TKP members gathered in front of Yıldız Holding

Stating that the most fundamental issue for citizens in Turkey is poverty, TKP members launched a striking campaign titled, "May the assets and profits of holdings be sacrificed for our people!"

The first company to be protested as part of the campaign was Yıldız Holding. A group gathered in front of Yıldız Holding and unfurled a banner reading, 'May the assets and profits of Yıldız Holding be sacrificed for our people.'

Explaining the purpose of their protest by stating, “We will seize the profits and assets of companies on behalf of the people.

We will nationalize these companies and make them work for the needs of the people.

This is the only way the economy can improve,” the TKP members stated that they would bring other companies to the agenda with protests they will hold in various provinces of Turkey.
