TMSF had put it up for sale: The new owner of the historic White Mansion has been revealed
The historic White Mansion (Beyaz Köşk) in Bebek, Istanbul, has found its new owner after being sold for 1 billion 116 million TL in the fourth tender. Ali Bekmezci, a well-known figure in the textile and maritime sectors, was announced as the new owner of the mansion.
The White Mansion, which was transferred to the TMSF following the July 15 coup attempt and belonged to Koza-İpek Holding, has finally found a buyer. The highest bid for the sale was recorded at 1 billion 116 million liras, including VAT. While the title deed transfer is expected to be completed shortly, official statements have not yet been made. However, it has been learned that the new owner of the mansion is Ali Bekmezci, the owner of BEKS Hosiery and Underwear and Beks Shipping.
The White Mansion had previously been put up for sale three times but no buyer was found. The first sales attempt was made last May with a price of 750 million liras. Sales could not be realized in the tenders held in 2025 due to insufficient demand. The mansion, which has two basements, a ground floor, one regular floor, an attic, and a terrace, draws attention with its 695 square meters of closed usage area and 208 square meters of terrace. The mansion, which is shown as one of the most expensive structures on the Bosphorus, also stands out with its historical and architectural features.
Beks Maritime, owned by Ali Bekmezci, made a rapid entry into the maritime sector in 2021 by investing in 5 ships. The Bekmezci family, which also has an important place in the textile sector, aims to further strengthen its position in the sector with this new investment.
