TOBB President reacts to boycott, sharp response from Özgür Özel: 'Members stand with the righteous'

While AKP government ministers have been issuing messages reacting to the boycott one after another, another reaction to the boycott call came from TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. 

Perhaps the sharpest reaction to Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who said he found the calls made to be wrong, came from CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.

Criticizing the TOBB President for not listening to his members, Özel used the following expressions:

"President;

We have no issue with those who invest or provide employment. 

There is no one dragging companies into political debates either. 

Who are you serving with this comment?

Subordinating the institution you represent to the government is devastating your members. 

Look at the state you have brought such a massive institution to. You don't have the courage to open the tweet you posted to comments; why, who are you afraid of?

Where do you supposedly draw your power from?

We are stronger than you in your own Union. 

A significant majority of your members are with us. 

Because we have the moral high ground. 

Because we are in the right.

Your members also stand with the righteous and against oppression.

Where do you stand?

We stand with the righteous. 

We will win. 

You and your mindset will lose..."
