Toy museum in Balat reduced to ashes
A fire that broke out at the Balat Toy Museum in Fatih has been brought under control and extinguished by fire crews.
A fire of unknown origin broke out at the Balat Toy Museum on Abdülezel Paşa Street in the Yavuz Sultan Selim neighborhood of Fatih, Istanbul.

Upon notification, police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. While police closed the street where the museum is located to traffic, firefighters began efforts to extinguish the blaze.

The museum was rendered unusable due to the fire, and collapses occurred in the interior of the building.
The fire, in which no one was killed or injured, was brought under control and extinguished after approximately 1 hour of work by the fire department.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
