During the program, which began at dawn, Australian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Richard Marles and New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Winston Peters delivered speeches on the significance of the day.
On behalf of the Republic of Türkiye, Eceabat District Governor Murat Çiçek and representatives of other countries laid wreaths at the event site, followed by a moment of silence.

During the program, Infantry Staff Lieutenant Colonel Fatih Kurtgöz read the letter sent by the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk to the families of foreign soldiers who lost their lives in the Gallipoli Campaign.
The program, which concluded with the playing of the national anthems of Türkiye, Australia, and New Zealand followed by prayers, was attended by the ambassadors of Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Sri Lanka, and the UK to Ankara, as well as other high-level officials from invited countries.
