Traffic accident in Bayrampaşa! 1 dead, 3 injured
In an accident that occurred at the Bayrampaşa Wholesale Market-Bus Terminal junction, a car crashed through barriers and flipped over. One person lost their life in the accident, while 3 others, 2 of whom are in serious condition, were injured.
The accident occurred at around 21:30 at the Bayrampaşa Wholesale Market-Bus Terminal junction. According to the information obtained, the driver of the car with license plate 34 YL 7997, Fatih K. (28), who was traveling in the direction of Edirne on the O-3 highway near the wholesale market road, lost control of the steering wheel for reasons yet to be determined. The car, which went out of the driver's control, crashed through the barriers, flipped over, and flew into the green area on the side of the road.
In the accident, the car driver Fatih K. (28) lost his life at the scene, while passengers Fatih D. and İslam Y. were seriously injured, and Aytaç E. was slightly injured.
Upon notification of the situation by other drivers, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After the initial intervention by the arriving health teams, the injured were taken to the hospital.
Driver Fatih K. lost his life at the scene. Following the investigation, Fatih K.'s body was taken to the forensic medicine morgue.
Due to the accident, long queues of vehicles formed in the direction of Edirne.
Traffic flow returned to normal after the vehicle involved in the accident was removed from the scene.
