Traffic accident in Çorum: Tokat Mayor slightly injured
In a multi-vehicle traffic accident that occurred in the Sungurlu district of Çorum, 7 people, including Tokat Mayor Mehmet Kemal Yazıcıoğlu, were slightly injured. Four vehicles were involved in the accident, and Mayor Yazıcıoğlu was taken to the hospital, with his health condition reported as good.
The official vehicle with license plate 60 TB 001, in which Yazıcıoğlu was traveling, collided with a truck with license plate 06 DNV 364, a car with license plate 16 JHD 44, and a light commercial vehicle with license plate 06 DKU 938 near the village of Şekerhacılı on the Sungurlu-Alaca highway.
In the accident, Yazıcıoğlu and 6 other people in the vehicles were slightly injured.
The injured were taken to Sungurlu State Hospital by medical teams. Mayor Yazıcıoğlu went to the hospital in another vehicle.
MHP Çorum Provincial Chairman Mehmet İhsan Çıplak stated that Mayor Yazıcıoğlu is in good health, sustained only minor injuries in the accident, and is continuing his treatment in the yellow zone of the Sungurlu State Hospital emergency department.
