Tragic accident in Siirt: They burned to death
A mother and her 5 children burned to death in a fire that broke out after their car overturned in the Kurtalan district of Siirt; the father, who was driving, was injured.
The car with license plate 72 KA 229, whose driver's identity has not yet been determined, lost control and overturned near the Gözpınar village of Kurtalan district.
THEY BURNED TO DEATH
The vehicle, which was reported to be LPG-powered, suddenly caught fire. Fire department, AFAD, 112 Emergency Health, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters extinguished the burning vehicle. In the incident, the mother and her 5 children who were in the vehicle burned to death.
The driver, who survived the accident with injuries, was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
An investigation into the accident has been launched.
