Tragic accident in Şırnak: 3 members of the same family lose their lives
In an accident that occurred on the Şırnak-Cizre highway this morning, a light commercial vehicle veered off the road and overturned, resulting in the deaths of 3 women from the same family and leaving 4 others injured. It was reported that 2 of the injured are in critical condition. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
According to the information obtained, the light commercial vehicle lost control under the driver M.A. and overturned into the ditch. In the accident, the driver and 6 other people in the vehicle were injured.
Upon notification, health, UMKE, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region. The teams determined that Nesrin Aytaş (26), Azime Aytaş (54), and Sibel Aytaş, all from the same family, had lost their lives.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
The other injured individuals were taken to Şırnak State Hospital for treatment following initial intervention. It was learned that 2 women among the injured, identified as C.A. (27) and L.A. (29), are in critical condition, while the driver M.A. is in good health.
The bodies were taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy. It was reported that an investigation into the accident has been initiated.
