Tragic fire in highland house: 3 people lost their lives... Arson suspected

3 people lost their lives in a fire that broke out in a house on a plateau in the Araklı district of Trabzon.

A fire broke out for reasons yet to be determined in a house on the Haçovit Plateau.

Upon notification by those in the vicinity, fire department, 112 Emergency Health, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region.

The fire was extinguished through the intervention of the fire department teams.

During the inspection of the house, the bodies of 3 people were found.

The bodies were sent to the Trabzon Forensic Medicine Group Presidency following the procedures.

In a statement made by the Governor's Office, it was stated that the fire, which broke out in a house on the plateau in the early hours of the morning, was intervened by fire department teams and the flames were extinguished.

The statement reported that after the fire was extinguished, it was determined during the inspection of the house that 3 people had died, and it was noted that the deceased were assessed to be the homeowner Gülüzar Altuntaş (61), as well as Kasım (66) and Arif Altuntaş (67).

ARSON SUSPICION

Pointing out that according to initial findings the fire was caused by arson, the statement included the following: "3 suspects assessed to be involved in the incident have been detained. A detailed investigation has been initiated regarding the incident, which has been reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office."
