According to the information obtained, on May 19 in the Pelitli Neighborhood, 5-year-old Ceylin Erkan was walking on the road with her father when she suddenly separated from him and ran toward the road.

At that moment, a motorcycle driven by O.K., which was traveling through the neighborhood, struck the child.

The little girl, who was injured in the accident, was taken to the hospital by her father. Despite all interventions, the young child lost her life yesterday evening.

5-year-old Ceylin was laid to rest in the family cemetery today following the funeral prayer held in the Demirciler Neighborhood of the Yomra district after the Friday prayer, while the motorcycle driver O.K. was arrested.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
