Trump's Netanyahu remark: 'He will do whatever I want'

US President Donald Trump answered questions from members of the press before his upcoming trip. In his remarks, Trump made notable statements regarding a war with Iran, his relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and US domestic politics.

Regarding Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, Trump said, "I know how to win. They don't. Whatever I tell Netanyahu to do, he will do. Whatever I want from him, he will do. He is a good man to me. He is a wartime prime minister."

"IF I RAN IN ISRAEL, I WOULD GET 99 PERCENT OF THE VOTE"

Continuing his remarks, Trump also spoke about Israeli politics, stating, "If I were to run for prime minister in Israel right now, I would have a 99 percent approval rating. If I went there and ran after my presidency ended, I would win."

Trump also spoke about Israeli President Isaac Herzog, saying, "Herzog is not treating Netanyahu well."

REMARKS ON THE ELECTORAL SYSTEM AND DEMOCRATS

Trump also made statements regarding the US electoral system and targeted the Democratic Party. Trump said, "If Jesus came down and ran in California, he wouldn't win. There are rigged elections. The Democrats are getting too many votes."

Touching upon the ceremonies held for Russian President Vladimir Putin in China, Trump said, "The ceremony held for Putin in China was not better than the one held for me."

STATEMENTS ON IRAN AND VENEZUELA

Trump also evaluated the situations in Iran and Venezuela. In his statement, he said, "We won Venezuela and Iran, and so far we have only lost 13 people. In some wars, 100 thousand people were lost. The television stations keep saying '13 people were lost.' Yes, 13 people were lost, but what we did was incredible."

Speaking about operations against Iran, Trump said, "We officially destroyed Iran. There will be very beautiful developments in the next 3 years. I will be the greatest president alive."
