The procedures at the gendarmerie for the 25 suspects detained in the Uşak-based illegal betting investigation have been completed. Of the suspects referred to the courthouse, 22 were arrested by the judgeship they were brought before.
Within the scope of the investigation, one of the suspects was released following their interrogation by the prosecutor's office. Two individuals were released under judicial control conditions.
As part of the investigation conducted by the Uşak Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, teams from the Provincial Gendarmerie Command had carried out simultaneous operations on October 9 at addresses identified in Uşak, Ankara, Hatay, Istanbul, Siirt, Antalya, Izmir, and Kocaeli.
While 25 people were detained in the operation, trustees were appointed to 4 companies within the scope of the file, and legal proceedings were initiated against 1 association.
