İYİ Party MP Turhan Çömez has brought to light allegations that a 5-year-old child in Şanlıurfa was subjected to sexual abuse and subsequently murdered.
İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez has made allegations regarding the suspicious death of a child who lost their life in Şanlıurfa.
In a post on his social media account X, Çömez stated that the child was taken to Harran State Hospital by their family after losing their life, and noted that according to the report prepared at the hospital, it was determined that the child had been subjected to abuse.
Drawing attention to the hospital report, Çömez also stated that the cause of the child's death was assessed as 'strangulation'.
Reporting that there is no autopsy report on the matter yet, Çömez called on the Ministry of Health, demanding that an investigation be conducted to clarify the issue.
The statement in which Çömez also shared the hospital report regarding the matter is as follows:
"A little girl, only 5 years old. She is brought to Harran State Hospital. She was murdered by strangulation after a horrific rape. All necessary interventions are performed in the emergency room, but it is not possible to restart her heart. Everything is recorded in a detailed report. If no mistakes are made during the Forensic Medicine stage, it is still possible to obtain all evidence in the most accurate way and identify the perpetrators."
