TÜRK-İŞ Vice President Kavlak laid to rest
The funeral of Pevrul Kavlak, TÜRK-İŞ Vice President and Honorary President of the Turkish Metal Union, who passed away yesterday at the age of 62 due to an illness, was held in his hometown of Kırıkkale.
Following the ceremony at the Turkish Metal Union, Kavlak's body was brought to the Kavlak Mosque in Kırıkkale.
Those attending the funeral ceremony offered their condolences to Kavlak's family and relatives.
After the funeral prayer led by Provincial Mufti Hasan Hayri Yaşar at the time of the afternoon prayer (ikindi), Kavlak was laid to rest in the Yenimahalle Cemetery.

A NUMBER OF DELEGATIONS ATTENDED THE CEREMONY
The funeral was attended by Kavlak's family and relatives, Chairman of the TBMM Health, Family, Labor and Social Affairs Commission and AK Party Ankara Deputy Vedat Bilgin, former Deputy Prime Minister Beşir Atalay, Governor Mehmet Makas, AK Party Kırıkkale Deputy Mustafa Kaplan, CHP Kırıkkale Deputy and mayoral candidate Ahmet Önal, Kırıkkale Mayor Mehmet Saygılı, TÜRK-İŞ President Ergün Atalay, Turkish Metal Union President Uysal Altundağ, Memur-Sen President Ali Yalçın, TÜRK-İŞ executives, representatives of unions affiliated with the confederation, members of the Turkish Metal Union, political party representatives, and numerous citizens.
